"I emulate the fleeting nature of life through my paintings. The fluid, transparent, and often unpredictable nature of watercolor reflects the unpredictability, transparency and fluidity of life and the progression, and regression, of time. I create to capture the essence of my experiences, in hopes to encourage the viewer to look within, and to reflect on the hard, or often overlooked thoughts and memories that make us who we are. The conversation in my work is not meant to just be a personal one, but also a universal one - the universal language of reflection."

Olivia Pickering is a watercolor artist from Titusville, Florida, who now resides in Miami, Florida. Olivia’s work is deeply influenced by her passion for nature and storytelling.
Olivia’s creative practice is characterized by its reflective and introspective quality. She draws inspiration from the natural world and her personal life, primarily using painting to tell a story. Through her work, she invites viewers to engage in a dialogue about their own experiences and memories, encouraging them to find their own metaphors and meanings.
